12.21.25 Pastor Chris Weeks
There’s a difference between people who say they care and people who show up. God didn’t love us from a distance—He came near. In Jesus, God took on flesh and made His home among us. Immanuel means God with us—present, not detached.
Jesus didn’t float above humanity; He stepped into it. Hunger, exhaustion, betrayal, grief. He wept. He gets it.
He was born in a manger—a feeding trough. Dirty. Unclean. God didn’t wait for the world to clean itself up. He entered the mess we created.
God shows up personally, not generally. He came knowing you, for your story. We are His people. His children. He came for you—and He still shows up. 🤍
