3.29.26 Pastor Chris Weeks

In Acts, Ananias of Damascus is called to go pray for Saul—the very man known for persecuting Christians.

Ananias was available, but he was also honest, and hesitant.

A calling may sound exciting… until it got real.

Us: “Use me for your good, God!”

Also us: …“Wait—Lord… are You sure?.”

Obedience doesn't always feel safe. It also doesn't always make sense.

But Ananias still said yes.

And because he did? Saul’s sight was restored. Scales fell. Salvation came. Baptism followed. A life—and countless others—were changed forever.

Here’s the truth:

God uses ordinary, available people.

Obedience won’t always be convenient. It will often challenge your comfort and logic.

But your “yes” might be the miracle someone else is waiting on.

God works through your step of faith.

Through your obedience.

Through your yes—even when it’s uncomfortable.
