9.1.24 Cody Knight

Walking with Jesus puts us in the right place, even before weโ€™re fully transformed. ๐Ÿ™ God changes our position through His grace, not our efforts. โœจ

We often compare ourselves to others, feeling inadequate. ๐Ÿ˜” But we only see the surface of others, while we know our own flaws deeply. In Luke, Jesus tells a parable about a Pharisee and a tax collector. ๐Ÿ“– The Pharisee boasts of his righteousness, while the tax collector humbly asks for mercy. ๐Ÿ˜ข

In Godโ€™s eyes, the humble tax collector is more righteous. ๐Ÿ™‡โ€โ™‚๏ธ Jesus teaches that those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and the humble will be exalted. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Our sinfulness should lead us to humility and reliance on God. Instead of trusting in our own strength, we lean on the Lord, who is perfect, forgiving, and full of grace. ๐Ÿ’–
